CONNECTIONS CREATOR
SYSTEMS ARCHITECT

PYLIA was founded by Bruno MORIN, an engineer graduated from the École des Mines d’Alès. Throughout his career, Bruno has acquired in-depth expertise in Enterprise Architecture and Model-Based Systems Engineering domains.
With this experience, his goal is to share this expertise with companies and young talented individuals who will gradually join his project.

To carry out its missions, PYLIA leverages Dassault Systèmes CATIA Magic solutions portfolio.

As a strategic ally, PYLIA has an accreditation that grants them access to the software editor’s solutions and experience-sharing communities. This close collaboration ensures that PYLIA has the necessary environment to provide high-quality services to its clients.

PYLIA also collaborates with a leading Strategy and Management Consulting Company on experiments for large industrial clients.

PYLIA SOLUTION
TRANSMISSION OF EXPERTISE

PYLIA’s approach stands primarily on two key stages:

  • PYLIA Foundation
Collaborative creation Client / PYLIA, of a first Enterprise Model
  • PYLIA Elevation
Client / PYLIA collaborative development of a more complete model including more simulations

The main objective of these stages, which span 6 to 8 months, is to provide the client with the necessary expertise to design and evolve their own Enterprise Model, potentially multiple models if needed.

In addition to these two stages, a remote support is generally provided through:

  • PYLIA Companion
Remote support of Client on his own Models

The methodology framework used is the “Unified Architecture Framework” (UAF), defined by the Object Management Group (OMG) and available at www.omg.org/uaf/.

It results from the convergence of widely used methodology frameworks worldwide, such as DoDAF, MODAF, NAF, and DNDAF.

Additionally, it aligns with ISO 19540 standard.

The main objective of UAF is to systematically define and link all domains of an Enterprise, from its strategy to change implementation projects, including a specific consideration for security.

PYLIA PERFORMANCE
SOLUTION VALUES

01

Rapid
construction of the model

With the expertise of PYLIA, the Enterprise Model is swiftly built by utilizing a vast majority of the available information.

The systemic methodology aims to associate and contextualize this information.

02

Powerful analysis
and simulation capabilities

Analysis of dependencies, value chains, dynamic simulations.

Systemic analyses to overcome silos.

Dynamic elaboration of viewpoints.

03

Obtaining initial
results as soon as
the Model is available

Making more informed decisions.

Reducing the burden and time required for pre-decision studies.

SYSTEMS OF SYSTEMS
MASTERING THE COMPLEXITY

PYLIA’s expertise and methodology more broadly applied to the concept of “System of Systems.”

A System of Systems is a collection of independent Systems integrated into a larger System that provides unique capabilities.
The constituent Systems work together to produce global behaviors that they cannot achieve individually.

A SMART CITY IS A COMPLEX SET OF SYSTEMS OF SYSTEMS.

Similarly, an Enterprise is also a ”System of Systems,” as well as a Department, a Business Unit and a transformative project.

Smart cities

Smart Cities are the perfect example of highly complex “Systems of Systems”

Based on its globally recognized expertise, the INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL ON SYSTEMS ENGINEERING (INCOSE) has established a dedicated working group for this subject. This approach holds particular interest because, unlike traditional projects that primarily focus on technological aspects, INCOSE places humans at the heart of its work. Mission: The INCOSE Smart Cities Initiative will draw upon […]
